Calling all Pinot-philes… Time to experience a “range of motion” at Moshin Vineyards on the westside of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. Specializing in small lot, hand-crafted wines, there are always several interesting Pinot Noir wines to taste on any given day.
Upon arrival, a towering spectacled iron clad hummingbird greets visitors outside the eclectic tasting room.
Local Artisan’s wares are exhibited in the tasting room with special artist receptions hosted throughout the year.
Besides a fabulous line up of Pinot Noir wine, Moshin Vineyards also showcases Vin Gris, Pinot Gris, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Other estate varietals include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Merlot.
Moshin Vineyards’ Wine Club Manager Julia Lander, is always on-hand to guide guests or fellow industry professionals, through the tasting menu and to arrange for a one-of-a-kind winery tour.
Moshin Vineyards has a unique four-tier gravity flow system for making Pinot Noir. The four-tiers are built into the slope of the land – utilizing the power of gravity for moving the wine through each stage of production.
“The goal at Moshin Vineyards is to carefully guide the grapes through the winemaking process and bring you a wine that expresses a truthful view into the heart of the vine.”
~ Rick Moshin, Owner
