The excitement is mounting for the 2014 Wine Bloggers Conference, which will take place in Buellton in the heart of the Santa Barbara County Wine Country this weekend. Thank you to the WBC Scholarship Committee and to the WBC Sponsors for selecting me to participate as a scholarship recipient.
The Santa Barbara AVA is very dear to my heart as the region throws a diverse selection of varietals ~ from Rhone Blends, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and more. And, best of all, it is within easy driving distance!
The 2014 Wine Blogging Conference agenda is jam-packed with wine tastings, food and wine pairings, keynote industry speakers, Santa Barbara wine makers, live wine blogging (similar to a speed dating format, or so I am told), plus numerous breakout sessions geared toward wine education, terroir and wine blogging writing.
Stay tuned for updates from Uncorked Wine Travels on Facebook and Twitter as more than 350 wine bloggers from all parts of the world converge in the Santa Barbara Wine Country to explore vineyards, visit wineries and to network.
Thank you again to the 2014 Wine Bloggers Scholarship Committee for giving me this once in a life-time opportunity to learn from the pros and to meet the top wine bloggers in the industry! I am inspired and honored to be a part of the upcoming 2014 WBC!
